The students created musical instruments at home as their final project to our Hearing and Sound unit. We enjoyed listening to the different instruments and figuring out the low, medium, and high pitches, as well as, the loud and quiet sounds.
We had the opportunity to try on some of Mrs. Laszuk’s cothing that she brought back from the Middle East when her family lived in Katar. Her and her husband were teachers there.
Paige shows leadership when she “Begins with the End in Mind.” Paige continues to work hard in her reading skills and is using more strategies to figure out unfamiliar words. She always makes sure she is reading good fit books in Daily 5 and continues to improve her stamina while reading. Mrs. Litzenberger is very proud of you Paige!
Emma shows leadership when she “Begins with the End in Mind.” Emma continues to work hard in her writing skills and did a fabulous job on her “Ten Little Snowmen” poem by using descriptive vocabulary. Mrs. Litzenberger looks forward to reading your stories this term. Congratulations Emma!
Nolan shows leadership when he “Sharpens the Saw.” Nolan knows how to be a team player during our gym class by cooperating, having a positive attitude, and listening to instructions. Keep up the great sportsmanship Nolan!
